TBYC News!!!!

From your Commodore...

As we move into the New Year, I would like to thank all our members for the help in making TBYC an outstanding club last year.  It is the boards intention to continue the tradition of having nothing but fun at our monthly cruises.

Additionally, all of you should have received a membership renewal application in the mail.  Get those dues back to TBYC as soon as possible, you wouldn’t want to be left out of the 2001 Roster (or have to pay the extra $10 if you're late after March 1st).

Have you reviewed TBYC’s website, http://www.top-golf.com/TBYC lately?  John Hoefer, Webmaster continues to work hard at providing the latest information to our members on this site.  Thank you John.

I look forward to seeing you at the cruises.

COON ISLAND CRUISE   FEBRUARY 17 & 18

This is a combined cruise with Sauvie Island Yacht Club to Coon Island. Saturday night is a regular potluck dinner (anything goes), with TBYC providing the main course, salad, side-dish, and Sauvie Island is providing the dessert.  On Sunday morning TBYC is providing and cooking breakfast for both clubs.  It was originally planned that dinner would be grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup.  When the board met on 02/1/01, no one wanted to be the grilled cheese sandwich cook so that idea was scrapped.  For those of you attending this cruise we have a portable fire pit, and it is requested that you bring “SMALL” pieces of wood (i.e., 2x4 ends, Presto logs (no Duraflame—they are too hot a product) small pieces of fire wood, nothing that needs to be split, under 12” long.
